The IAAO' s Standard on Communicat ions and Out reach highl ights the cr i t ical role of ef fect i ve communicat ion and publ ic engagement in the f ield of proper ty assessment . I t prov ides a f ramework for assessment of f ices to establ i sh and maintain a pos i t i ve relat ionship wi th the publ ic , thereby enhancing the credibi l i ty and funct ional i ty of the assessment system.
