The National IAAO Board of Directors has established committees and task forces to make recommendations pertaining to the operation of the Association and to support the mission and commitments of IAAO. Other commissions and advisory boards may also be established to carry out the Association's programs or to advise the Board of Directors on a particular matter. Members are appointed to committees,

Being selected to serve on an IAAO Committee recognizes the individual’s commitment to IAAO and its mission and purpose. Volunteers serve one-year terms and are expected to participate in conference calls and virtual meetings. They may work on projects which will improve their subject matter area.
