IAAO Election News Two Florida members unopposed for National Board seats At the 90th Annual IAAO Conference in Denver, candidates for the open Board seats had the chance to address members and seek support for the upcoming November election for the 2025 Executive Board. Two Floridians are in the race for these positions: Terry Taylor, CAE, RES, AAS, Fellow, is running for Vice President, while Scott Russell, RES, AAS, PPS, is vying for the Region 3 Director seat. Both candidates are running unopposed. The Vice President role is a prestigious one-year position, while the Region Director seat carries a significant three-year commitment, both of which require strong leadership and dedication. Terry and Scott have long been integral to IAAO, contributing their expertise and passion to various task forces and committees.

Elections will take place November 1-15, 2024 via electronic ballot. To be eligible to vote, you must be an IAAO member in good standing (not chapter member). The results will be announced by November 27, 2024. Make sure you vote! Their deep involvement in the organization’s mission is further highlighted by their status as certified IAAO instructors, a role that underscores their commitment to educating and advancing the profession. With years of experience and service, they are well-prepared to step into these leadership positions and guide the future direction of IAAO.
