The highlight of the Wednesday agenda was Gerry Hoeffner, President of Personal Dynamics, a human resources consulting firm and his presentation “Beyond This Point There Be Dragons - Embracing Change in the Workplace. It was an engaging and dynamic topic designed to help us understand how change affects individuals with differing needs and how we can use this knowledge to help make change less stressful. This session was definitly an attendee favorite! On Thursday, the theme was ‘Industry’ with those in the private sector speaking about topics in their respective fields. Shawn Pittman, a senior manager from Ernst & Young, talked about Leasing and some of the ways to identify leased property from taxpayer provided data. To wrap up the morning, there was a

It was a great way to end the day! On Friday, the conference began with Alex Ruden, ASA from Southeast Appraisal speaking on Purchase Price Allocation. Bryan Schuck, Personal Property Manager from Cleveland County, Oklahoma discussed the highs and lows of marijuana dispensaries and production plants. The Tangible Personal Property Legal update concluded the conference with Alex Luca, Director of Exemptions & Legal Counsel, Pinellas County highlighting recent legal cases and challenges pertaining to personal property.
