Happy New Year! Wishing all of you a healthy, happy and successful 2025. Congratulations to all of the newly elected Property Appraisers! I would encourage each of you to get involved with the Florida Chapter of IAAO. The networking opportunities alone are worth the cost of membership. We had nearly 95 attendees at the Annual TPP Conference in Kissimmee, December 11th to 13th. TPP Chair, Lori Dorian and the TPP Steering Committee put together an impressive agenda. This just in, the agenda has been released for the 2025 FCIAAO Annual Conference in Daytona Beach. This is an event that you will not want to miss! Our host will be the Honorable Larry Bartlett, Volusia County Property Appraiser and his staff. The dates are April 30 to May 2 at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort. We will be offering the RES & AAS Case Study Workshops prior to the conference on April 28-30. Our steering committees with the guidance of Vice President Wynta Loughery have put together an incredible line up of presentations and guest speakers. Register early and book your hotel room. Let’s celebrate Cinco De Mayo en la playa! IAAO Workshop 551: Valuation of Machinery & Equipment and 12 students for IAAO Workshop 151: 15-Hour USPAP. The conference was a huge success! We would like to thank everyone for their participation and also say a special thank you to our sponsors and vendors.
