SANTA ROSA COUNTY COUNTY SPOTLIGHT Continued Central Santa Rosa, anchored by Milton and the Pace area, offers convenient access to Pensacola and a suburban feel that appeals to families and professionals. It features a thriving commercial corridor and rapidly expanding industrial centers blended with suburban convenience and natural scenery, which contribute to its strong sense of community. The county’s northern expanse offers a distinct change of pace. Characterized by forests, farmland, and winding rivers, this area is home to one of the largest state forests in Florida, Blackwater River State Forest.
