IAAO Election: Russell becomes a qualified candidate for IAAO Region 3 seat The Honorable Scott P. Russell, CFA, RES, AAS, PPS, submitted his paperwork to become a candidate for the Region 3 position previously held by Greg Hutchinson from Howell, New Jersey. The IAAO Nominating Committee met on July 1st to confirm the candidates and he is now an official candidate as a Region 3 Director. At this time, he is the only candidate vying for the position. Director positions have a three year term.

Region 3 has three directors which represent 15 US States on the eastern seaboard from Florida to Maine and the District of Columbia. In addition, Region 3 includes the Caribbean nations of the Bahamas, Barbados, Grenada, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Scott has been the elected Property Appraiser in Monroe County since 2013 and has just been reelected for his fourth term.
