PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION NEWS

The FCIAAO Executive Board understands that the strength and diversity of our Chapter lies with the volun- teers, committees and interactions among our members. DID YOU KNOW? IAAO designees must complete two (2) different National USPAP Update courses (consisting of at least 14 total hours) within their 5 - year recertification cycle. Designees may take either the 7 - hour update or the 15 - hour updat e (with or without exam). However, (2) updates are re- quired. For example, if the 15 - hour update is completed, another 7 - hour or 15 - hour update would be required within the recertification cycle. The Tony Hodge Educational Award may be granted to FCIAAO regular members who earn their IAAO designation. The Executive Board shall recognize newly designated members at the successive FCIAAO Annual Conference and may present them with a $500 check. To be eligible, new designees must be a FCIAAO member in good standing for at least 24 consecutive months prior to being awarded their IAAO designation and receiving the award. Please email a copy of IAAO ’ s letter conferring the designation to tdrake@ccpao.com.
