FCIAAO AWARDS 2024 FCIAAO Member of the Year Award
It’s still a shock to me! It has been an honor and privilege to be a part of this organization as an Executive Board member and now as a Committee member.
~Lori Dorian
The Member of the Year Award may be conferred to a member who has made a significant contribution to the Chapter in the previous year through active participation in its activities and who has made an outstanding contribution to the realization of the FCIAAO mission. The 2024 recipient of the Member of the Year Award is Lori Dorian of Pinellas County. Lori humbly took over the TPP Steering Committe mid-year and while a little hesitant, she jumped in with both feet. She proceeded to plan one of the best TPP Seminars ever with a record 110 attendees. Lori really knocked it out of the park!

They say if you enjoy your job, you never work a day in your life. This has been my experience. Thank you for this recognition.
~Pat Alesandrini
The Lifetime Achievement Award may be conferred on a member who has made significant contributions to the Chapter through active participation in its activities and who has made an outstanding contribution to the realization of the FCIAAO mission in their career. The 2024 recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award needs no introduction, especially to those of us in Florida. The majority of our membership has been fortunate enough to have taken an IAAO course or two where he was the instructor. He served on the Florida Chapter Board and as FCIAAO President, 2019 - 2020. Additionally, he spearheaded the first Strategic Plan and Mission Statement for the Chapter during that tenure. He moved on to the National IAAO where he lead that association as President in 2023. Congratulations to Patrick Alesandrini of Hillsborough County! Page 29
FCIAAO AWARDS - 50/50 Charity Raffle
Every year, the FCIAAO Executive Board sets out on a mission to do something special for a deserving local charity. This year, our host county, Orange, was given the incredible opportunity to select their charity of choice, and they certainly didn't disappoint. With great enthusiasm, the county chose TGI, The Greatest Investment - Girls Empowerment Program, an organization that provides vital education to our next generation of strong, confident, and fierce female leaders.
This was more than just a fundraiser - it was a true testament to the power of a community coming together to make a difference. We are incredibly proud of Orange County and our members for their unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. At the conference, members were able to contribute to this wonderful cause by participating in a thrilling 50/50 Raffle. Attendees eagerly purchased their tickets in hopes of winning big and supporting TGI at the same time. And boy, did they come through! Our members showed their love and generosity by raising a whopping $864 in total, with 50% going straight to TGI.
