IAAO Awards

Harry Galkin Award This award was named in honor of Harry Galkin, a long-time associate member, and is presented to the IAAO Associate Member whose contribution, during the past year(s), has been so worthwhile as to demand recognition. Contributions may have been in the area of writing or speaking on equalization, assessment, assessment administration or general taxation. The individual also may have been distinguished by advancing the mission of the organization through fundraising or through the contribution of time, effort, talent, and resources.

Stacey Ford Outstanding IAAO Representative Award This award is named in honor of former IAAO Membership Manager, Stacey Ford, whose life was tragically cut short. Stacey was the IAAO Representatives' greatest booster and supporter. She always had a smile, kind word and inspired Reps to serve members while proclaiming the enormous benefit of membership in the IAAO to nonmembers in their region.

Verne W Pottorff, CAE, Professional Designee of the Year Award This award was named in honor of the late Verne W. Pottorff, CAE, former Executive Board Member, and is presented to the IAAO Professional Designee who has most effectively promoted the interests and mission of the IAAO Professional Designation Program.
