What do you do for the PA? I’m currently the Director of Community & Social Media Relations and work out of our downtown Tampa office. My role is centered around external and internal outreach, public awareness/ education/relations, charitable initiatives, social media and employee rela- tions and development. How long have you been employed by the PA? Overall, just over 14 years, which is hard to believe. I started in 2006 as a land appraiser, then in 2014 shifted to Team Lead of our newly revised Sales Verification Team. In 2017 I became our Community Outreach Coordinator, which subsequently transformed into my current position.

What do you like most about your job? Honestly there are three things I like most. The first is being a part of our continual process to try to im-
prove what we do, in all aspects, to make the work experience a better one for our team members. The second is constantly being challenged beyond my comfort zone, which opens me up to learning some- thing new all the time. The third is the relationships I’ve built over the years with many of my profes- sional family members.
Where were you born? I was born in Nassau, Bahamas, to my American mom and Bahamian Dad, but grew up for the most part in Tampa, Florida.
Where was your best vacation ever? I’m not someone who has ever vacationed much (I know I need to change that) but I’ve enjoyed a few fun things here and there. I had my first real vacation planned to Oberammergau, Germany this past June, but COVID. Whitewater rafting and visiting the Biltmore on separate occasions in North Carolina come to mind as my best experiences so far. What are your hobbies? I adore doing anything with my three-year-old granddaughter, Micah. Taking walks with her are the BEST! Beyond my infatuation with her, I like water play/sports, self- improvement activities/books, good food/drink and biking, which I don’t do enough of. What do you plan to do when you retire? That seems so far off I’m not sure how to answer. I just plan to live life as happy and content as possible…sleep in when I want, attend any and everything my granddaughter is involved in, take her places I only dreamed of taking my own kids when they were young, remain and advocate for my community and stay healthy and active so I can enjoy every aspect of life without boundaries.
