2019 Spring Newsletter
IAAO designations signify exceptional professionalism and competence in property valuation, proper- ty tax administration and property tax policy. Many consider a designation to be one of the highest professional achievements and individual can obtain. In 2018, we established a new FCIAAO record with 28 Tony Hodge Educational Award Recipients and won the IAAO Virginia Cup for the 8 th time. This year, we set a new record with 32 recipients, includ- ing a recipient who earned three designations in a month (Hon. Scott Russell) and another who is a Certified Barbeque Judge (Bruce Wright)! The Board and the Professional Designation Committee ap- plauds them all for their commitment and perseverance. By earning their designations, they join an exclusive club of assessment professionals.
